VISUALIZING INTERNATIONAL TRADE FLOWS

Check out this cool interactive map at Visual Capitalist that shows us global trade flows. If you click on individual nation-states the map will show you trade flows by state. Below are trade flows from and into the United States ... 



Immediately below are global trade flows, with a view from the North Pole (the U.S. is to the left, Europe to the bottom right, Asia to the top right).




If you click on this link - "Four Maps Showing China's Rising Dominance in Trade" - you will learn that while the United States is the top trading partner for 56 countries, China is most important trading partner for 124 countries, dominating in Asia, Eastern Europe, Africa, and Australia.
